y8 head on a z6 block (did search)

Default y8 head on a z6 block (did search)

I know they mate up but is there anything to modify. second which head gasket, timing belt , water pump , oil pump do I use y8 or z6 . and third everything for the ecu is in the head, is that correct.

its going in a 1996 civic si coupe with a broken rod in a d16y8 motor

it's pretty much a striaght up swap. just change head gasket. thats it. use the z6 headgasket. you should also get a cam gear for it.

why wouldn't the oem cam gear be good enough
