anyone else have this problem?
I have a stock crx. and i bought some motegi 15". and the calipers are rubbing on the rim on the hub side. and i need to get a spacer. i just wanna know if its only my car or if other people have had this problem with they're civic/crx
so i need longer studs too. is there any way that i should go about installing longer ones? mostly like how do i take the old ones out and put the new ones in?

Depending on how much it's rubbing I would grind the caliper a bit to get the clearance U need, only if it's rubbing a little. that would be much better then getting spacers. if you do have to go with spacers I rec. H&R because they are hubcentric and are the safest route where spacers are concerned. and yes you will also need longer studs. I say if the caliper grinding does not work then just get wheels that fit better since there are 8 gazillion styles to chose from for us Honda guys. good luck.

or possibly get older calipers It looks like you have a 90 crx I think the 88-89si/dx and hf's have a different one as well. those caliper dont have that metal bar around the outside of the caliper like the 90-91's do and they stick out less because of that.

I had 2mm spacers on my old crx, i didnt get longer studs, i mean it's 2mm! </TD></TR></TABLE>
lol well they came off a civic.. i kinda assumed. but yeah i think im gunna grind the caliper just because the only thing rubbing is like on the rim where there are some letters extruded out... so thats like what. 1/16 of a inch?
