Default Q: just fixed my JDM ITR front bumper sag, but now having problem openin hood!

well just fixed my JDM ITR front bumper sag. had to flip around the bumper reinforcement bar b/c whoever installed it had it upside down.. but now problem is when im inside the car and i pull the hood latch lever, it dsnt pop open my hood.. i have to go to the front and near the grill pop it from there.. anyone know why its doing this? maybe a kink in the line?? i wanna have any opnions / advise before i take apart my front bumper again.. also hearing this wierd noise from driver side now, sounds like something is hitting when im taking off slowly from 1st gear..

really they installed the bumper support upsidedown? dang. maybe position ur latch and adjust the height of located with washers. it may still be grabbin ur latch just because of the inital instal? maybe?

are you saying you have to manually pull on the cable? or only pull up on the hood?

get someone to help you check the latch..pull on the hood latch lever and ask them if they can see the cable moving..if it is my guess is that the hood latch is binding..you can loosen the three 10mm bolts and adjust it the it catches and releases the hood without smoothly and any binding

yeah, once you fix one thing, another thing goes wrong. seems to be my pattern..

*EDIT FIXED IT. hood wire fell off the lil hook and the little ball was extended way too long so had to pull the little ball and put the lil thing back on the hook and now everything works
