How much revs can a stock H22a4 handle?

i am rebuilding my stock bottom end using factory usdm parts
i am going to change the main & rod bearings (coated acl) and i will use arp rod bolts.
and new factory h22a4 rings. will this combo handle 8600 rpms or will i break the rods in half? the engine will be run very hard as i will be testing various alterdcreation head ports and intake manifolds and maybe a low boost turbo setup.

yeah this topic has been covered so many times just search.
it seems as though you don't know what you want to do with your h22. high revs + turbo? why?
and almost everyone is going to tell you that most h22's stop making power around 7400-7600 rpms so anything more is useless. when you dyno you will figure out when you need to cutout.

With the port job i did on the cylinder head and the intake manifold work i am sure that it will make power that high or atleast not drop off a greatly as with a stock head. i spun a rod bearing a another engine before and i want this one to beable to take sustained abuse for extended periods of time. later when i add cams i dont want to have to stop running the motor at 7800rpms. i plan on using all 8600 rpms. even if i dont make power there i dont want to be afraid to rev it hard od down shift hard
go buy a smaller motor like a f20b or a gsr or itr motor, and build that, i mean, ive seen h22's built reach like 9k rpms, but built, i dont know what your planning to do, and it doesnt sound like you know either heh

no sense in revving an engine high when it doesnt make power there. Its just going to make you slower. BUT it is ok to rev it a little higher for tuning sake, just in case an overrev does occur. You should set your rev limiter about 500 rpms beyond what you normally shift at.

but i want the short block to be capable of extended rpm abuse.
all factory usdm hard parts except for bearings and rod bolts

doesnt seem like you are getting the answers you want to hear....so why not just DO it and see what happens?
point being, there is no point to be revving that high, even on a down shift.

just made it to see what everybody thinks.
i am on a very tight budjet(baby girl should be hear in three weeks).
i understand what everybody is saying. I know from experience that you can make a reliable street monster without breaking the bank. i really want to go all out but i have to put my priorities in order. also i am testing my h22a cylinder head program that is the pourpose of keeping bottem end stock. if it is a sucess i will market them depending on the outcome will determin the price.
also i would really like to break the 200whp mark. i will post some pic of my past head and current (old one is a b16a). also did alot of single cam accord heads.
lets see if its something that can be done

Testing is hard on components. It's supposed to be, that's the point. In doing so you have to have a baseline - which is why he is keeping the bottom end stock for testing head setups. Now, would he be fine with just an OEM rebuild on the bottom end or would stronger OEM-replacement parts (if any) be more cost effective?
