I saw you on the track at Streets of Willow last weekend. Engine sounded great!

What's up with the fiberglass doors and one piece glass front end... Former drag car???

Yeah, I was gonna ask about that as well. Is that even legal for any wheel-to-wheel classes?

possible NASA HU car.

started working on this car before Honda challenge and Honda Cup was in socal. Good car for practice. Have a lot of stuff with it ... trailer ... extra motor. ... extra yokohama tires ... also have extra shell with chromo moly tubing.

for sure not a street car ... TRACK ONLY.

TIME ATTACK car.

ATTENTION FUTURE DRIVERS ... learn from my mistakes. GET IN A SEAT ASAP!!!!!!
Don't dream about making powerful track car.
Also keep in mind many new series will be poping up.

HU has the same body rules as H1 so you would still have to switch the doors and front end out.

If you do that you could run H1 with it.

But not sure about adding in a Type R subframe I believe that is illegal in H1 and HU. (If it's not it should be)

I'd imagine that's just to prevent the stock subframe from tearing out. Dunno why you'd go to the trouble of doing all that instead of just a brace, but whatever.

would be cool to see someone run it in Honda Challenge ...

Wouldn't take much to make a H1 car again ...

Thanks

Thanks Casey ... look forward to seeing you're car out there. BTW i have extra H series motor ... dude want someone to try that block with B series tranny. Know of another company trying to market a adaptor plate ... wanted to try that set up. Have feeling that would make that block move a lot quicker. Try it or someone should ... those block are a dime-a-dozen. That block my not have potential like K series, but there are a lot of parts available. I remember a friend was putting down 265na to wheels.

Just out of curiousity...why is HKS tuning APEX'i equipment? Don't they have their own F-CON to sell? Although, apparently only ninjas and magicians can tune an F-CON, since there's only 7 or something authorized tuners in the US.

haha ...good question. Actually have a couple of maps in the ECU. Lanny Higa (APEX R&D director) also tuned the car. Good idea to get as many map inputs as possible. Have different motors and set ups ... Just the maps alone are worth something. Both are great tuners with much experience. Took advantage of their experience and was fortunate enough to get a moment of their time. The F-con is a great unit ... extreme range. Power FC is dope unit as well. plug in play unit ... ultimately want to boost the car. APEX now offers an "end-user" version of the software where is the F-con doesn't

thanks...

another option with the chassis... since many feel that this motor has potential.
