mr ups dropped of a gift at my door today. i got my slips finally! i like them a lot, but i got smaller tires than i had before and the wheel gap is HUGE! i was thinking of powdercoating my front grill flat black. can someone please photoshop it to see how it will look? and please: no "lose the grill." i've already heard enough of that!

yeah its a grillcraft. since i have a 97, the center bar in the bumper won't allow the grillcraft to go back any further.

did anyone see the red civic hatch in SCC this month? the one with the ugly cf fenders? it had a black grillcraft, and i thought it looked pretty good. you really couldn't see it at all. that's where i got the idea.

 

No offense to you in particular bro....but when I got my slips it was to avoid the "rice" crowd and clean the ride up. Now I didn't know it was a cool thing to do all over. In order to create a clean ride...lose the DTMs and the grill...you can powdercoat it all you want but its still hideous, like a sore thumb. Sorry, had to vent.

 

yeah, and i got them because they were a good lightweight wheel within my price range. what ever happened to "to each his own" anyways. i just asked for a photoshop job, not a lecture in how you think my car is "rice." what is DTM anyways?

if u dont want to show your ugly radiator why dont u clean it or something. Lose the grill the clears and drop it, then your car will be tight. But overall nice car

Yeah I'm voting for losing the grill man. It looks like a band-aid on there. Other than that you car will be very nice and clean when you get those springs.

 

it is german and means "Deutschen Tourenwagen Masters" . something that doesnt belong on japanese cars but somehow made its way to them.

 

its the exhaust that you have.. DTMs only belong on BMWs.. not Hondas.
i'm not going to flame you, because everyone has their own style. If you like what you got, then that's cool. But me myself.. don't really dig the grill.. and the DTMs.. drop it lower, and it should look sweet.

 

actually, that's the second thing im going to get (after springs of course). I bought it at NOPI on impulse last year, and i haven't liked it since. it's way too loud and it just doesn't look right. i definetly gonna go with the apex'i ws, because i've heard great things about it. im still not sure about losing the grill though. i might take it off this weekend and see how it looks and decide from there. thanks for all the replys!
