Bogging bad and failed crank
I am getting bogging/ hesitations on the freeway with constant throttle position on my B18c5. It does not occur all the time. Infact it happens very rarely, but when it does, its really bad. If I were to floor it, the bogging goes away. Will a poorly wired alarm affect the full operation of my fuel pump? Or will a faulty alarm module cause my fuel pump to work inconsistently? My alarm was triggered on one occasion when I tried to crank and the fuel pump relay started ticking for a good 30 seconds. Is it possible to just disconnect the fuel pump wiring from the alarm? I got the alarm wired by the alarm retailer. Today, I was unable to crank in the morning. Nothing happened when I turned the key, but there was the usual battery light, oil light etc. I had to put it to the "off" position and recrank before it started. I did not recall the CEL light come on during my first turn of the key to the "on" position. Any advise?
