Dental Floss or Fishing Line
Dental Floss worked great for me!!!!
Then a little goo gone after you remove the badge to remove the adhesive.
You might want to wash your car after you use the goo gone though.

Good Luck,
Jon

Im wondering the same thing.. it looks like the back of my car has been repainted.. and if i take off the badge it will rip paint off.. I was thinking maybe go around it lightly with a razor blade? but i dont want to take a blade to my baby

thanks ive got tons of fishing line, ill use some lighterfluid or wd40 to take off the goop.

im even thinking as going so far to get some ls rims or something... its a shame.. but I have been feeling VERY vulnerable with my car now since my stereo and boost controller were jacked yesterday.

thats the funny thing, i had a sun shade thing in the windshield and i let it sag a bit so its difficult to see my gauge cluster... maybe they saw the eclipse head unit and the box and boost controller were a bonus... even though the radio and boost controller wont ever work since they cut the wrong stuff off

edit: the fishing line trick worked like a champ, slid that bad boy right off.

edit again: if i decide to unclip my boost controller from the harness and bring it wherever i go, will it reset the unit?

Just heat it up with a hair dryer and pull it off! All the glue should come off on the badge then clean the spot and wax it.

I took my VTEC sticker off too. I took it off with dental floss and used some Goo Gone to remove the adhesive. Once it was off, I used some soap water to neutralize the Goo Gone and followed that up with a nice car wash. I didn't want to see what it would do to clearcoat with prolonged exposure. So now my Integra looks like an LS. Those of you who are smart will know its a GSR because of the Supersonic Blue Pearl paint.

Sorry to hear about your theft. I used to be all into the car audio and while I was at school, I had my chit stolen. I had everything replaced free of charge once it was claimed on my home owners insurance. After that experience, I no long care about the car audio scene. If you were to pear into the window of my car, you will notice I have nothing worth taking. The interior is all stock.

Well, I took mine off. It does look cleaner without it.
came off pretty easy actually..just started it at a corner with some fishing line
and the rest i just pulled slowly, it came right off...still tacky and no goo on the car

fishing line is a little better, once you get a corner up (if it is nice and hot outside) you can peel the rest of it off, if you do it right you can attach it to your ash tray inside!

my ash tray is officially OHC TEC (someone tried to steal it (the badge), and all they got was the D and the V before it ripped).

Yeah leave it on, because you're an idiot if you only think GSRs get stolen.

Integras topped the stolen cars list. Believe it or not guys, but that consists of all models. Yes that means LS, GS, RS, Special Edition, GSR, Type R.

The "DOHC Vtec" Emblem looks just like the "Special Edition" emblem from far away.

Here is a "Great ******* Idea", make your car as ugly as possible. Strip the paint, kick the doors a few times, key it in all sorts of places, get black steel wheels, take all the emblems off and leave the holes there, raise it, crack the windshields, take your radio/climate control/gauge cluster out. Maybe all this wil turn off the theif. Get my point? There is no way to keep your car the way you like it without grabbing the "wrong" type of attention.

You just peel it off. NO scratches or anything. Simple as that. You're worrying too much. Just peel it off!

I did, and its much cleaner...

First of all its easier to steel.
Second of all, who ever steals a car, if two tegs are standing next to each other, you dont think that the one with the big *** VTEC sticker (which says its a more profitable car) wont get picked right away? Thats comprable as to having your car FI'ed and then having "DRAG Powered", "Greddy Turbines", "Turbo", or "FI" stickers all over your car, they are like "PICK ME" stickers.
Anyone that knows integras should know if its a GSR or not.

Took mine off with a hair dryer.
