Default Need help determining price for fairly quick sale...

Hey guys, I have only had the ITR about a year and a half, but time for me to part I believe. I'm going to go to college, and I think I'd like a car that is a little less of a theft target and would like to save some money for college.

A lot of you might know whats done to my car, but I feel I will have the best luck selling her mostly stock.

So..she's an 00 Clean title, 60k original miles, great great shape, runs beautiful, Interior is outstanding, not a thing wrong with her.

The only mods that will be sold with the car is an OEM JDM HID front end, the JDM 16 inch gunmetal wheels, and the headunit with aftermarket speakers.

I was thinking around 17,000. Do you believe this is a fair asking price, and how long do you think I would have to sit on this price? All feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Please no one pm with offers for the wheels or anything as they are the only wheels I have for the car. Thank you.

Seems like the price meay be a little high for a "quick" sale. 15500-16000 would move it quickly.

TTIWWP's. With pics it would be easier to determine. I know I know... stock except the front end right. Pics sell cars though, not descriptions.

I would think you would have to have a damn good deal in order to sell an R quickly. $17K with 60K miles seems more like where you would start and work your way down. $15K right off the bat might attract a bit more attention. Depends how desperate you are.

But as mentioned Im sure pics would help.

17k seems fair if the JDM front is straight and matches the car. 14-15k would be in the "sell-quick" range.. You just need to find the right buyer that's all.

So if the front end and the HID's are the only thing going with the car let me know if your going to part out the rest of the mods.

I agree with the others. If I wanted to take my time with it, I would post it with a $17K asking price and would be willing to sell it for $16,500. If I needed to sell it quickly, I would post it with an asking price in the $15-16K range.

before i even read everyone else's responses i had $16,000 in my head. but you should start with $17,000 like they said and be willing to drop a little. good luck with the sell homie
