I guess it depends on what your drefinition of 'fast' is. It has more low-end power than a VTEC Prelude but it lacks up top.

Personally, I don't think Preludes are quick at all. They are geared aggressively in their stock form to make it seem fast but they are not that quick out of the box. Sink some money into a lude and it'll be fast, but you can say that about any car you sink money into. I'm just a fan of their good looks.

He's right. The gearing makes them feel fast. I don't concider a 14.8 (93 VTEC) fast at all. I concidering a 13.0 fast, big different in 1.8 seconds. I love the styling/luxury of the car.

my friend ran 13.2's with an h23 i/h/e tires and nitrous,
so yes, you can make them somewhat fast

people in hopes for speed do not generally go looking for preludes. People who buy preludes like how they look.

I mean, with some mods it can be "fast," (it's all relative), but there is no reason to buy a prelude to gut the damn thing. Unless you're hawkze and drive a 2200 lb h23a1 monster of course.
