of course 13:1 is better than 11:1, while youre at it only use 1 layer of the headgasket and youll be at 14:1, make sure you use 87 octane too, 91 or higher will hurt your top end and your bragging rights about your peak hp will be lost...
unless youre doing it yourself (god i hope not) the amount of money a shop would charge to rebuild your h23 and put type s pistons in it would be rediculous to get up to probably 160whp on your h23, not to mention you will have to tune because of the 13ish:1 compression, run race gas all of the time, plus get engine management, plus that compression would be useless without some upgraded cams which require upgraded valvetrain, then a good 2.5 exhaust, plus a good header (which nobody makes for an h23 unless you go expensive custom), all before even talking about dynotuning.....read up here before you make any decisions or get back in your car again....

^^ i think you havbe a lot to learn about motors before you replace pistons....that wont fit wihout mods, but to answer your question go with the h22a1 pistons, their not floating so theyl fit on fine and your compression will be arround 11
