GSR Free Mods??
I'm going to the track saturday to hopefully improve my times (15.0 1/4) My only mod is a AEM intake. I did advance my timing a little last time but not very much since a timing light wasn't available. I always run 93 octane. This time I plan on removing the PS belt and removing the rear seat. Any other "free mods" that may help improve my times? It's a 92 Integra GSR btw.
The only other free one I have for you would be to go on a diet and lose a few pounds (weight reduction at it's best) Unless you are a skinny **** like me, then you are pretty much out of free time saving mods on your integra.
Good Luck,
Jon

less gas, take off cat-back, take out spare, jack, door panels, empty glove box, radio, center plastic(where shifter and center consol are)

actually, the cat and cat back are substantial. About 20-40 lbs. I know for sure that on my brothers motorcycle, replacing the header-back with a titanium exhaust system saved him about 20 lbs.

hp isn't important, oh wait, hp isn't as important as the hp to weight ratio. 200 hp pulling 5000 lbs is a hell of a lot slower than 170 hp pulling 2000 lbs.
I only weigh 140 lbs so i'll try the dung approach before the race also
Last time I just took out the back seat so maybe i'll try the rear factory speakers and plastic inner fender. Passanger seat may go at the track. Exhaust is original 150k mile factory so i'm not gonna risk taking that rusted thing off, even though it looks to weigh about 50 lbs itself! I always have about 1/4 tank of gas so i'm good there. Well i'll start taking stuff out tonight!

I used to remove the side marker on the passenger side to force more air where the AEM filter is...
Never confirmed that it helps.
You don't mention susp mods, but if you have adjustable shocks, you can try setting rears to full firm to help with weight transfer/squat during acceleration...
