Default new to hondas. have some Qs

im currently looking for a new project car and am thinking about a 92-96 prelude.
i have absolutely no idea about hondas and have a few questions.

im thinking the standerd engine swap is the h22a? what about the h23(stock si)?
are these aluminum blocks?
at what power level does the block start to flex?
does it have 4 bolt mains?
when does the manual tranny take a dump, any tranny swaps?
when do the axles brake?
what is a good stand-alone?

thank you.

I think I can answer a few for you... not all but several. If Im wrong someone please jump in and correct me...
-Most swap in the h22a, for the added power, VTEC, higher rpm range etc...
-most F and H series trannys are swappable
-Good standalone=aem ems, hondata.
hope this helps some

Axles depend on how you drive and where you drive it. If you're easy on it, stock axles will work fine for some pretty high power. But if you plan to beat it on the track, stock axles will give out around 250-300 whp. Try Driveshaft Shop axles
