Default Turn Signal Fuse Blowing in EF, always happens when I click the signal lever...

I have an 88 crx dx, since this Saturday I have went through 3-10A fuses. All of which keep blowing while i'm driving and signal. As soon as the lever makes the "click" it usually blows. When i replace the fuse the signal will work fine for a few minutes, then pop again. Does this sound like a bad signaling lever? It's a cheap part I can pick up...just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem. No changes in my setup for the past two years...
