Default tein ha ?

well theres a set of tein HA's on ebay going for real cheap only probleme is there for an ef-8.. so my question is will they work on my dc2.. i have itr control arms so im assuming the ef-8 ball style mount is the same as the itr.. and also isnt the ef front strut mount a bit smaller in diameter?

thanks for ur help.

well to the best of my knowledge the only issue i would have would be with the front struts bucause the diameter of the mounting hole would be to wide.. i dont c wat the difference is between the itr rear lca and the ef-8 rear lca being that there both ball style

front lower fork is different, yes smaller diameter. the fork is interchangeable so you could get a ef/da one.

the rear lca is almost identical to the itr as well. so youd need that too.

I don' t know about US spec vs JDM spec but from past experience with JDM spec DA/EF/EG/DC suspension:

For the front you can use the shocks if you use the appropriate fork.
EX. EG/DC front shocks with EG/DC forks will fit EF/DA

For the rear, DA/EF are a little narrorer on the metal collar that is in the bushing on the bottom mount point.
EX. EF/DA rear shocks onto EG/DC you add a washer or 2 to get rid of play. For EG/DC rear shocks onto EF/DA, you may have to shave/grind down the metal collar/tube(?) about an 1/8".
Sometimes this collar/tube can be replaced depending on manufacturer on the shocks with the appropriate length needed.

In general. EG/DC shocks are longer in stroke VS DA/EFs so putting EF shocks on an EG/DC will "slam" it nicely.

If any of the above is wrong please correct me. I hope this helps.

i dont think theres an issue with the bushing width in the rear. the EK's are the ones with thinner bushing width. EF/DA and EG/DC are the same from my experience.

EKs don't mount like JDM DA/EF/EG/DCs in the rear. They don't have bushings in the shock but on the LCAs right?

ah, right, youre talking about jdm ball type end. nvm.

hmm.. interesting to hear that EK's dont have the normal JDM shocks. thanks.

so then i gather from what youre saying ,the difference between 88 CRX (like all jdm ef) and our ITR (like all jdm dc) is about 1/8" width around the bushing. more interesting info.
