Dammit, it didnt even make it through a season. So last night I was cruising home and about a mile away I heard a "rock in tin can" sound. I was like hmmm wtf, so i shook my head and wouldnt you know it, visor disconnects itself on the right side. Now I'm thinking to myself, hmmm maybe it somehow came undone, maybe someone played a joke and undid the clip... So anyway, needless to say I rode that last mile with my hand against me head. It sucked but oh well. onto today.
Well me and my brother decide to go out for a quick ride around the lakes. So I gear up and grab my helmet on the way out. Oops, forgot to put the sheild back on, ok so I'll do that right quick while the bike warms up. Upon closer inspection, the Clip and spring that hold the shield into place decided that they didnt like their home and vanished. Yep, they arent there anymore.
KBC better warranty this....so frustrated...luckily I have my old HJC CL14 laying around...but its yellow..I looked like a McDonals ad riding today :crying:

It's a KBC VR2 btw

if they don't warrantee it..looks like I'm gonna get my dream helmet...

Someone needs to explain the plastic lenses on the visor? I have the same on my helmet and was wondering what it was.

when your racing you tear a piece a layer off your screen to try to hit make it hit the other rider behind you from catching up.

Hmmm, I believe it is there to prevent the visor from being scratched....

On that AGV, the guy above was right, they're tear-offs, not sticky plastic. And no, they aren't reusable, just expensive. They aren't so the visor doesn't get scratched, it's so you can regain your sight in the middle of a race after you've been pelted with BBs, bugs, dirt, whatever.

And yeah, that helmet is disgusting. In the good way.
