Default RPM LAG.

i have an R18 5 speed.
it has 1400 miles on it.
EGINE IS ALREADY WARMED UP
when i put it on Neutral, i rev it till 4K RPMS or over and then i watch the RPM needle drop back to idle. for some reason it lags around 1250 (1.25K) RPMs and then after a second it drops back to normal (600 RPM)
And also sometimes ( rarely) it revs by itself when im trying to slow down when i shift from any gear to neutral.

I have a problem with mine as well. When I shift gears sometimes there is a delay with the acceleration [all jokes aside].

It'll slowly accelerate then jerk. Its so annoying. I've taken my car in to the dealer and as usual they find nothing.

the dealerships have no idea what any of us are talking about when we complain. search the threads in here and u will find all kinds of posts about the stupidity of car lots not knowing about what honda has already released. some dealerships havent gotten it yet though. mine gets it in on monday and thats when i take it for the reflash

tahts why i said a few posts up that it could be the same required reflash as the si. im not sure if it does or doesnt, but if it is then print out the info given in other thread and take it to honda. the one with all the specifics... great info and i doubt they can dispute it or deny it at that point. not sure either way though. just trying to help
