I just called Open Road Honda in NJ

I was pretty much yelling at the guy with this

I've called 3 times and they told me it doesn't exist, i faxed him this
and told him that if its not fixed i'm going to flip out....

( they know me already in there from other honda problems, when i told them i'd drive my 00 civic ex thru the showroom floor, when they threatened to void my ENTIRE warranty for a radio lol )

Needless to say

My appointment is for Thursday the 24th went i get back from FLA
& to fix my "rocking passenger seat"

My passenger rocks too.

And whats funny is I took my car to get reflashed last weekend and the Service Manager said he would not do it unless a TSB was out.. So needless to say I have a Honda tech that lives across the street from me. So I am getting it done first thing Saturday morning

My Si is in the vin# range. So what do i do? Call my dealership and say that my ECU needs to be re-flashed or what?

Call your dealer and setup an appointment. And print out this for back up. Half of them are clueless of this update

Do service bulletins apply to all North American honda dealerships? or are US Honda and Honda Canada different in some way? Will they recognize this TSB at a Canadian dealership?

I just have one quick question for everyone. My VIN does NOT fall in the range, but I will swear on my life that I can still feel the rev hang horribly. Has anyone outside of the range gotten the reflash?

First off thanks to all that have helped in finding info to notify the dealership techs, but even being nice about asking about this my local dealership has a receptionist that is just flat out cold, she first off tried to tell me unless it was a recall there is nothing wrong, umm yes there is, she wrote down my problems. Wel i just received a call from them saying the technicians can not replicate my issue, she told me they didn't see any hang in rpm's, that's crap my car A.) falls in the vin number range listed, and when shifting the rpm's hang for a second...Well i guess i'll see what happens when i have a technician ride with me this afternoon.

My tech told me no more than 10 min.

If anyone has had this done in the mid-west more so close to Oklahoma please let me know...Dealerships here are always a few steps behind...

BTW:
I had one of the main guys from the service dept. ride with me he saw that the rpm's hang and i even gave him the Honda Bulletin regarding the update...His response, " The car is supposed to do that." umm ok well why is there a fix if it's supposed to do that....his repsonse, "......(silence)". what a fool, Anyone in Oklahoma do not go to Fenton Honda good price on car's terrible service dept. I work at a computer IT firm, when there is in an update we update. We don't question.
