06 civic si headers.
it seems that since the car is pretty new there arnt that many upgrades 4 it yet i`v been looking for a set of headers all i see is dc sport 4-2-1 if anyone knows of anything els please post....also i`v been looking for a turbo kit cant seem to find one
Why do you want a "set of headers?" Last time I checked, we only have a header on our car. I guess I didn't get the fast one then. Also, please search before you post. You will soon find that the ecu is a lot harder to crack and people are working on turbo kits and some companies, like AllJapCars have a couple SIs that they turboed.
look at the fg coupe picture page on this forum and youll see a picture of the greddy si with the greddy fmic on it...it was also in one of the issues of honda tuning....i think june 2006

they made one for the car they had at the SEMA show. it produced 260whp. that kit is not available for mass production/distribution yet. i've contacted greddy and not gotten a response back as of yet. so as for now there is no turbo available for our cars, but im sure there will bea few choices by spring

haha yes thats what i meant....i seen that they had one but didnt think it was for sale yet
however with the si's having such high compression, i thought they were better NA cars? i was planning on keeping it that way (turbo has too many problems) but is there a place online that u can learn about the k20s because i have NO experience what so ever and heard that they act funny to mods so i was wanting ot know what kind of things would open up power the best.

^^^Drop some rods and pistons in there to lower the comp and then turbo the **** out of it. The stock motors actually handle boost very well, but everything will ALWAYS depend on your tune. If you have low comp and a shitty tune, you have the chance of blowing your motor. Look on Clubrsx.com for some numbers on stock k20s. They are pretty high.
i think after my ex, i dont want to touch a turbo. ever. nor do i want to drop the money on it. unfortunatly a certain someone *cough* *cough* wants to put it on his teg...but he'll learn the same lesson i did.
i had a revhard stage 2 turbo on my teg with nothing internally done except for a block guard. stock injectors. stock ecu. just a bolted on turbo and was running 13.6's. BOOST IS FUN AS expletive! if i had the time or money to put into the teg that i wanted to, it would have been much better and much more reliable.
the new si with 11:1 compression will handle boost. its not recommended to take it over 7psi i believe. and thats pushing it. i want to see the superchargers on em running 6psi and see what kinda times they pull out. i wouldnt pull the motor, change the pistons/rods etc on such a new car. if u are wanting boost that bad, get an older civic or teg and boost that. im gonna wait and see how some of the cars handle the different applications. like the alljapcars turbo civic, i wanna see how long it takes for something to f*** up on that.
supercharger=whine like a spaceship taking off
turbocharger=sweet, sweet music of spool and BOV
