Default EG/EJ Armrest cup holder.....

I’m buying my friends arm rest from her dx hatchback. And I was looking up directions on the quickest way to swap it out. And I came along this, a cup holder that goes inside of the arm rest...

Does anyone have that part #? I’ve searched for hours and can’t find anything on H-T. The closest I came come up with is 107539 from HondaAutomotiveParts.com but I don’t know if it’s the "pop up" crappy cup holder or not... Thanks

I would probably stake money that 107539 is in fact the cup-holder insert for the arm-rest. If you look up the flip-up cup-holder for the shifter console, you'll see that the price is about $60.00 more (click here) The only other thing the 107539 part could is some sort of universal style cup-holder of some kind. I wouldn't be too surprised if that is the case. Looks like a little more searching is necissary...

Yea, the cupholder comes with the center console.

It only holds small to medium cups though, the large mcdonalds cups do not fit. Many medium cups fit VERY snug and when i pick up the cup, the cupholder comes with it quite a bit.

If you have a open din slot in your center console (especially if you have the optional audio console) there is a ford tarus cuphold that pops out of the din slot to hold small/med cups. Just a 2nd option I'm throwing out there.

i have the exact one pretty much (mine is JDM though) but i dont know the part number. its kinda cool to have the cup holder, especially since i have the jdm center audio console, so i had to loose my cup holders. I'll try to find the number for you.

Well, I got mine from ebay. I think the cup holder sucks because who do you know gets a small drink. I took mine out so that i can hold a large drink. So thats y i took out the cup holder. Get the real long jdm armrest not that one. After a while the arm rest feels loose after a while. But anyways it looks cool. Especially with double din center console.

Hrm, I got a same problem, I was just thinking about it today...I have an EJ1 ('95 EX) and it only comes with that crappy ******* pop up one that's like, all the way infront of the shifter, the one that feels like it's about to fall apart when you pop it up - - that flimsy piece of **** all the way up by the gas pedal...

Is there any other kidn of cup holder I can buy or would I have to go buy a whole JDM console 'n ****?

EDIT:
PS: I don't even have an armrest

The "JDM" console doesn't come with a cup-holder, and it actually removes the little pop-ones that come with the car. The console unit is not JDM either, it's a USDM accessory sold by all Honda dealerships...

Your only other option for an OEM cup-holder is the USDM armrest. As you can see from other peoples posts, the cup holder inside the armrest still sucks just as much *** the regular pop-out ones...

Upon checking HondaPartsDeals.com, I see that it is most likely the arm-rest cup holder. The armrest is listed as illistration #005, and the cup-holder is listed as #005a. Even though there is no illustration to reference the numbers, the "a" designation clearly shows that it is part of the arm-rest set...

is the USDM version of the armrest...

and you can add the optional EDM Rear foglight switch...

and the parking pole switch:

Now my question is: does a Half antena Switch fits there as well ??

I believe there is some tabs that you'll have to cut off on the sides but it's easy, after u get that off it should fit in perfectly.

first off, are you gonna buy the armest just to put those switches in without the things that they control? if you just wanna throw nonfunctional switches that aren't hooked up to anything the armrest delete has spots for switches too... 2nd, that second pic isn't the edm optional rear fog switch, 3rd only 2 switches will fit in the rear console pieces, either armrest or not

and I have the armrest cupholder and I love it, if you have a drink that's too big to fit the cupholder you can just take it out and put the cup in the armest

The reason that most Civic & tegs don't come with all those switches is becasue the accessories they operate are STUPID! Just my opinion though...

"Dumb and can't read" strikes again!... Buddy the foglight switch is EDM because only EDM EG6's have rear fogs ! and I don't want to put switches in my armrest... I'm just putting the options out there if some one never heard of them!

the best bet is to go with the ford taurus cup holders, especially if your stock radio din isnt occupied, but it will also fit in the optional adio console too.

just because i got that title from a mod doesn't mean I'm stupid...

that fog switch is for EDM civic's that have enough options to fill up all the buttons on the dash, example...cruise, TCS, sunroof on one side...rear fog and defrost on the other side, so those with front fogs too get the center console switch....the one you posted is the front fog switch, not rear fog...you need to know what you're posting before you start a hater game again

Man, the pop up one isn't even a ****** cup holder....I don't know what it is, but I doubt it could actually hold a drink. Flimsy *** **** plastic...

Oh well, this is when knee steering comes in handy, 'cause I don't feel like swapping my whole console out for a cup holder..damn, iono, oh well, guess I'll be usin bottled drinks more often O.o
