When i was in Seattle, Kansai had a nasty s2000 there with j's kit. Definitely seemed like alot of import cars there.

I got a special deal on my car after all the cars I have had done there.
My complete color change, front end put on, shaved moldings, shaved rear sprayer, shaves antenna, shaved emblems, engine partialy shaved, and windows pulled and put back in. Also there was alot of labor getting my front end back into useable shape.

Beyond that Jeff's attention to detail is unparralled. For instance the entire underbody of the car was re-undercoated so the car looked brand new when I got it back, he sanded and buffed my headlights to brand new status also.

If you wanted to do the same thing i'm guessing it would most likely be around 3500 bucks. Obviously it would be less if you wanted just a color change.

3500 sounds like a deal for all that work when i think about it. i asked kansai to shave my side moldings and pop some dents/dings i have and it was going to run around 2500...and that's only if they paint the parts they work on

i think c-speed promotes 2020 Customs for bodywork i think...i can't remember the shop name.

i went to kansai yesterday and they said about 3k for just color change and some minor body work like poppin a couple little dents and such. so if jmi is that much for everything that status sean had done, then a color change should be nothin. i might have to check them out. Status Sean, how long do they take on stuff? and are they pretty backed up on scheduling?

Yeah for the quality it is beyond reasonable.

you have to see the cars in person, to understand the quality.

here's some more pics of JMI's work.

here is the link to the story and pictures.
