99 acc v6 timing belt ?'s

my friend is being quoted $900 for a timing belt change
is that true?
keep in mind thats this is a v6 and i know you need a special tool

What special tool? Tell me so I can go get one, and then the job will do itself while I stand back and watch. LMAO I'd need to know what is included with that price, cam/crank seals? Water pump?. If that is a price for the belt alone I'd shop around a little more.

well the belt i saw was only like $40-$60
i have'nt personally called the dealer either just wondering if anyone has 1st hand knowledge of this replacement and cost
