what was your approach?

what was the order you guys took to mod your ride? my main priority was security unlike some people.
1. security (no tow, no steal)
2. engine swap (speed)
3. full 2.5 exhaust (speed and sound)
4. rims and tires (speed and traction)
still running on stock cx brakes and suspension
i dont give a **** about looks so ill never touch the exterior in terms of mods. im more into the all go, no show crowd.
im trying to decide whether i want to spend the money on bolt ons BEFORE brakes and suspension

Suspension and breaks b4 everything else.
It's no good having all that power without control.
Ur better off learning how to drive it with less power (suspension upgrade) for some time b4 u have to go ***** to the wall fast....
Just my 2 cent

I agree - suspension is more important than you may think.

but then whats turning and stopping going to do if you dont have a car to do it wth? lol
hmm my choices are powerslot rotors and hawk brake pads OR gsr brake conversion... which is better?

I'd go with the GSR b/c it'd put discs in the rear...plus the brake pads mean nothing if you don't have big enough calipers for 'em
You're running a B16? What size rims, the 14's?
I'd do a basic name brand intake/header/catback, then you move to rims (get 'em to 15-18 (I personally don't go higher than 16 b/c that's low profile IMO O.o), after the rims I'd do a GSR brake swap, then move on and get some coilovers, like konis or omni..
How much money do you have to put into this if you don't mind me asking?
EDIT:
PS: I say this order b/c in my opinion, the stock suspension is good enough for a I/H/E B16, the rims will also add to this, but wont make ur stock suspension worthless...from there, the added room inside the rim will make the calipers cool nicely (don't get crossdrilled), I do think the GSRs are larger than stocks...but not by a whole bundle :-\ Then you can slap that **** on ground controls/coilovers or something
Oh yeah, and as far as security goes...I'd get that after you drop it...but I suppose it depends how high the theft rate in your area is...or you might wanna put that higher on the list..
But in my real opinion alarms don't do a whole lot, I was sittin in a wal*mart parking lot yesterday and this guy had a screamer alarm system, like, really ******* loud, must had a shock sensor & somebody musta hit it, nobody was trying to break into it, I was on my cell in my car, it was on for like 10 minutes, nobody gave 2 *****, the guy (if he had a pager) didn't know about it...it just annoyed everybody b/c it was so ******* loud...basically what I'm saying is, how many times do you hear a car alarm and not give 2 ***** about it? Nobody does, it's in their nature...of course ur gonna hear some big tough guys on H-T counter this with "when I hear an alarm I check it out immediately" but that's just a whole lot of bullshit & added tough guy scheme, maybe 5% of the US pop would actually look into a car alarm going off in a parking lot...the only alarm I think is useful is one of those satellite ones that automatically dials 911 then turns on GPS so everybody knows where the car is...other than that, an alarm system's practically useless... Lots of pple will give you this bullshit about "deturant" etc., but I've known too many pple that steal/have stolen cars (none of them hondas, so don't start) and they don't get scared off by alarms, even the aftermarket ones, these guys are pros at what they do, it doesn't take them long to disable it... I don't care how many hidden batteries and sirens you have..
Starter kills are different, they take more time, if I was going to go w/ security I'd at least get a starter kill relay w/ a remote..but even that's overridable by pros in under 2 minutes...so who r u kidding in the long and short of things?

couple grand
if i do the gsr conversion, ill wait til i get suspension so i put them on at the same time. save money and time
i think my brakes still work kinda fine i just need to brake early. it just wasnt doing anything when i was hitting 100+ that one time lol
all im really missin is suspension and brakes. i think my suspension is still fine. ride is still comfy. just smoe gangsta lean when i turn. i have everything already other than to complete my bolt on set

i would go with the integra conversion. being that the brakes are bigger than your cx's. i would use the hawk pads, but i'm not to sure if i would spend the money on the powerslots. a rotor is rotor.

Yeah, unless he's doing autocross the whole powerslot/cross drilled/slotted are completely useless, larger diameter rotors are better though..

That's jsut plain weird, if you're doing 100+ it should slow down rather easily...true it's not going to go to 0 in 5 seconds, but usually the higher it is the more tapping the brake will slow ya down more...

Slotted rotors will still help you out in the long run on a daily driver car. Factory rotors tend to warp after a while, and the slotted rotors help to get rid of heat so they will usually be effective for a longer amount of time. An upgrade to a set of factory rotors from an integra should be fine and last for a while as long as you don't ride the brakes all the time.

still - air friction at 100 is intense
