that's a major drawback of the RSX. it would have seemed a very conveniant standard feature to have an LSD, but it doesn't. oh well. if you're going to get an aftermarket one, though, make sure you get Quafie and stay away from the phantom grip.

Not OEM USDM, no. However, the Torsen axle from the 2006 Civic Si will work, and it's easy to get a K20/DC5 Torsen axle from a DC5 ITR.
They have the added advantage of being very cheap for what they are.

That'd be the more expensive way to do it. If I were you I'd keep my eyes on eBay auctions from the more reliable JDM sellers and just pick one up for a couple hundred dollars.
The Honda Torsen axle on my DC2 ITR w/K20A(*) only cost $300.

Are you saying the DC5 do not have LSD, or are you saying the K20Z3 LSD will not fit the K20Z1 ?
I don't see why the K20Z3's LSD would not fit on the K20Z1's transmission.

LSD = 1st & 2nd gears best friend....
unbelieveable what it does in the turns too... car pulls inward thru turns
one of the main reasons why I went with the type-R k20a

Thanks Everyone
I had heard a "rumor" that just the 2006 got an LSD, which didn't make much sense to me, but I thought I'd ask here, since a local dealership's salesperson didn't even know what a limited slip diff. was
I got a used 02 a year or so back, but I was thinking of getting something brand new and a LSD would have really been really appealing on the 06 RSX.
