Need setup input... 1) Omni FC 2) H&R & Koni Red 4) Sportlines & Koni Red
I heard Tokico shocks are garbage, and the Koni Reds are only $30 CDN more. I also heard the mass produced Eibach springs are garbage too.
I will not be racing, only drive mildly aggressive on the streets.
I prefer a non bouncy ride.
I have 4 options:
1) Omni Power Full Coilovers (Height adjustable) 12k/10k
2) H&R Race w/ Koni Reds
3) H&R Sport w/ Koni Reds
4) Sport Lines w/ Koni Reds
I am not going for the slammed look, and will be driving through the winter. I want something that will last the 96 EJ8. I'd prefer to stay with one height and drive it through all 4 seasons as I am lazy and poor to adjust/do alignments semi annually.

Eibach has great springs i'm not sure who told you they were garbage but I believe they are incorrect

tokico blues are garbage. illuminas are great.
i think eibach makes great springs as well.
that being said, i'll always vouch for eibach pro kits and illuminas.

get the sports with reds. you def dont want the race springs, they are pretty low. the sports rates are a little lower than ots ground controls.
My opinion I would go with the omni power 10k 8k's that's what i'm running gives you great versatility you can go low because of the new larger piston size allows for less travel same dampening and they are pretty stiff i have the 10k 8k trust me you don't need any stiffer unless your stereo is really heavy and your running something like a h22 or something i'm 100% impressed with my omni streets for example car with me in it very predictable handling no body roll and great on highway have hit a few very big pot holes and i must say, stiff but not so bad you mess up your rims or bouncing around. maybe some pple don't like the old style omni powers but the new ones i'm totally impressed with
