Default integra brake booster and mc on eg

i have a 94 civic hatch cx. i had problem either with my mc or my brake booster; whenever i step on the pedal it would slowly starts to sink. i have tried bleeding it many times and i was thinking my mc is messed up and time for a new one. i been holding it off and now that i have turbo running on it and using the vacuumm line i'm losing pressure and the problem is getting wrose, the brake pedal feels weak, doesn't feel like i can even lock the wheels if i push it hard and fast. i was wondering is there any booster and mc out there i can use that will fit with NO mod. and will give me a shorter pedal(i have to step mine pretty deep to feel stopness) if there is none out there that will fit what are my other alternatives and is there a DIY. thank you.

A TON will fit.

Your original prob. is almost definatley a leaky seal in the Master.

Then with going turbo the vacum assist in the brake booster deminishes...

Anyway... you can use a 15/16ths master AND booster from 90-00 integra... you have to swap them as a pair since the bolt pattern is reversed for the integra.

OR you can get JUST a master from some weird year civic... it's in the big brake thread that's stickied at the top of this forum.

Yeah... the brake lines all line up to the 15/16ths master... NOT the 1" ITR master.

I couldn't find that brake thread and it's not stickied any more... I think it was called "Can I put X brakes on Y car" or something like that...

15/16 is the size of the master cyl. bore, that is the one for rear disc brake civics and integras, if you have drum brakes still that would not be the correct one. if you still have drum brakes i would suggest doing the booster/MC/proportioning valve, and rear disc brake conversion, although thats expensive. maybe an integra MC would help on a drum car but im not sure about that, it seems like it would cause unequal braking.

FYI... the size of the cylinder just dictates how much pressure it exerts... you could use a 1" master on a car with 4 wheel drums...

You CERTAINLY don't have to do a rear-disk conversion to change a master.

if your looking for a larger M/C with no mods, then you will need the M/C (15/16) from a 91 civic ex. will bolt straight to your booster.

here's a whole thread on it:
