-Transmission jumps out of gear
a. Shift shaft detent springs worn. Check and replace.
b. Synchronizer sliding sleeve worn. Remove transmission, check and replace.
c. Gear engagement dogs worn. Remove trans. and replace gear.
d. Crankshaft thrust bearings worn. Remove engine and crankshaft and repair as necessary.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Always start with a cheap fix. My guess would be that you are out of trans. fluid.

I put that list in there to illustrate the importance of a cheap fix i.e. checking your tranny fluid. I doubt the OP has an issue with something like that.
More likely its out of fluid or a bad synchro. Another cheap fix for this problem: is your shift linkage tight?

That's prbable because when the shop did the clutch install they added some tranny fluid back to the tranny.
