Default golden eagle?

Does anybody have any experiance with the Golden Eagle main bearings, rod bearings, thrust washers, and block guard? I am intrested in purchasing them and don't want to jump into it without any guidance. If anybody has any other possible options let me know. Thanks.

Ethan

I wouldn't bother using a block guard. Are you boosting or staying NA?

its going to be na at first because im out of money and i need to get the motor in. but in a couple months i plan on turboing it. does that change you opinion at all? or am i still good running a modest turbo setup on a stock block without a blockguard.

I personally wouldn't bother with a block guard.

What motor is it and what are your power goals?

100 bux. if you gonna put some itr pistons or something in for NA then boost later, its not a good idea cause its gonna be in the 11 compression

i was never planning on running itr or ctr pistons, im running the stock pr4 b18a pistons. dont worry about that, i know what im talking about, i just want to make sure i get the best for my money when im assembling my bottom end. i just got my block, pistons, rods, and crank back from the machine shop, so i wanted to get a concensus from other members. thanx for the responses. oh and im only looking to make about 250 to 275 at the most, until i can afford to upgrade internals, and other such things.

Oh hell man, 275whp isn't much on a stock B series anymore, at least if it's turbo'd.

As long as you take it to a good tuner you can probably make 300-350whp on stock internals.
