if you use regular P/S fluid, it will foam up, and possibly even mess up the seals in the p/s system. honda fluid has etser oil in it, which conditions the seals without swelling them up, as would most ATF-based fluids (nissans, toyotas, ect. use ATF [automatic transmission fluid] in their power steering systems). Hondas use o-rings made of a similar material to A/C systems, and require special lubricants.
so yeah, just take the belt off, and drive to a parts store. preferably a honda dealer to get some genuine stuff, but the honda stuff at the parts store will suffice. just make SURE it sayd honda power steering fluid on it. i think coastal makes most of it??

it's been fine for 6 years, I'm not too worried about it.

Let this be a reminder to check your manual for fluid types, no matter what you drive. I had a leak in the Turbo Pig's PS, and I fixed the leak and topped off with power steering fluid I had bought.
Turns out it needs Dexron III, so I had to empty the reservoir with a turkey baster
