need help!! transmission problem

need help!! transmission problem
my problem is when my car is in gear its not moving at all the rpm's go up but the car wont move is that a worn clutch? or could i have knocked it out of place? any with idea's please help

Won't move while in gear ? Crawl under the car to make sure your trans linkages is hooked up, if it is I would say you broke something inside the trans.

it was running fine until i hit a big pot hole then all of a sudden it wont move in gear i can put it in 1-5 and reverse and it wont move the rpms go up but that's it.. i checked the axles there not popped out
