if ur into basic muscle wich is a v8 with a carburetor and few vacum lines ur gonna have a hard time getting used to these engines, specialy if u plan to do a swap urself. ive seen plenty cases on wich a guy that grew up with v8's has a harder time instaling a litle b16 in an ED than their other v8 engines im muscle land. but o well. asuming u got a DX u have a d15 engine in it.POS when it comes to performance, now, thats assuming u got the stock motor in it. this thread might get locked but o well.
D series motors = budget build, newer ones come with single cam vtec. all over the place. all D series parts fit each others. ex 2000 block with 91 tranny
B series motors = high reving TOP end motor, both for track or city, many mods avaliable for them, yet the most popular engine yet to swap, DOHC VTEC . these engines actuate both cams when VTEC is engaged.
im not gonna get into K or H series motors, way more complicated swaps, wouldnt be pointless since u dont know anything about honda in general proly.
