stupid wiring harness help!!!!(DC2 )
so i recently bought an aftermarket headunit for my teg. i also bought with it a tube subwoofer. i have everything hookup and all the wires ran. i had to buy a wire harness for hte headunit and wired it all up i then plugged the head unit in my PRELUDE and used it fors couple days with no worries. then today i decide to get the teg working and hooked up the wiere harness ot the teg's plug. there are NO lights. the Screen doesnt light up and there is no music playing. BUT i am able to eject the CD and put it back in. keep in mind it works fine in the PRelude but in the teg it doesnt do anyhting. what could be the problem?

well if i'm able to still eject the cd and put it in doesnt that mean there is power going to the headunit?

Proper way is to get a digtal voltage meter to read your accessory wire. Most headunits you can still eject cds while the car is off. Your car can be on but if the fuse is blown on the accessory wire the radio thinks the car is off. Check your fuse in the driver kick pannel and under the hood.

Yes, but you're not reading the previous posts... You need to make sure you've got switched power on the RED wire...
