new car...new to h-t
I am going to buy a 97 Prelude SH tomorrow and I was wondering what maintenance I should do. I read h-t a lot and I've tried searching a lot of topics but I rarely find what I really want, I guess I just suck at searching. I know this topic has been talked about over and over but as usual my lack of searching ability has left me with nothing. Another issue I have is that the front bumper has a scuff on it and will need sanded down and painted by a professional, does anybody know about how much this will run? Any help is greatly appreciated and for those haters who are still gonna tell me to search thanks for the advice but you know my situation if you read all of this.
hahahahhahahahahahaa is it an auto or manual
Find me a SH thats Auto
Auto to Manual Tnesioner is nice, but not needed. But if he is doing timing belt, it may be in his interest to do so.
Timing Belt, Water Pump, Distributor, Pulg Wires, Flush the cooling and Oil system....just do all the general maintenance when you get the car and just look over he car...be happy and dont ruin her....I will hunt you down with a knife

I bought it from a private owner with 93k and all sh are manual, even I know this.
He said he replaced the timing belt, water pump, spark plug wires, and tires. He also changed the oil.

seems to be the time of the year to be buying ludes. I bought mine two years ago around the same time as well and it had the crazy timing belt tensioner grumble that troubled me and many other 5th gen owners. But, since your lude has got the timing belt done and all, you should be okay for a couple thousand miles. Good luck with your new ride.
