Default hood wont release

so i put some 1/2" by 1/2" spacers under the hood between the hinge and hood to lift it up twards the window (i like how it looks)

Anyways the hood wont release now. Just wondering how i can get it open and fix this problem. I think the hood pin just isnt sitting in the latch straight and its binding or something

the hood pin is adjustable as well as the latch parts

edit: try to pull the cable from underneath your car, youll probably have to take the splash shields off

Clean up and regrease your latch, and then adjust the adjustable screw inside the spring, then it'll pop right up

I tried to do that to my hood (spacers).. I ended up going too far with one bolt that it snapped and left a nice pimple on the top side. Now my hood sits on 3 bolts and is uneven on one side. That right there is bad luck..
