89 crx SI ZC motor swap questions pls help me out
Hello fellas I'm new
and my car's Timing belt broke, anyway i thought it would be the perfect time to do a ZC swap to it now it's an 89 CRX SI. I was wondering which ZC would be should i go with and in terms of speed and installation compatibility with my SI tranny, help me pick which year ,engine code to buy from H Motorsonline and what clutch and flywheel if need to change to get. I read that it's just a bolt on engine hopefully this is easy to install. Pls lead me to the right direction on making this swap succeed and input other modifications that are necessary. I would like the DOHC ZC . Thanks again guys.

get the DOHC ZC from HMO.. i think your tranny will work fine, as well as ur clutch and ur flywheel(dont trust me on that) other than that ur wiring should work with out problems and yes, it is just bolt on.
you want the OBD0 DOHC ZC from 88-91 JDM Civic Si or CRX Si that bolts into the 88-91 Civic/CRX - it will bolt right in using your mounts, axles, etc. - you need to use your Si engine harness on the ZC engine and make a minor wiring change at the distributor like this:

you will need a upper radiator hose from 88-89 Integra - your Si flywheel and clutch will bolt right on - highly recommended that you install new timing belt, water pump, front and rear crank seals and oil pan gasket before you install it

these knowledge are very much appreciated ty again guys. Now for replacement of the Timing Belts on the ZC motor is there a USDM car that is compatible with it? if so which one? or if you have ideas on where i can get one, pls keep replying.
