I'm thinking for a daily the Pro-Kit's will suit my application more so then the sports. Specially since my shocks will be Tokico Blues. Anyone got pics of what kind of drop the Pro-Kit gives you. In all honesty, I don't give a **** about the looks or dumpedness, I just want a sportier suspension around the turns when I'm doing some spirited driving. Thank you!
do yourself a favor. get illuminas instead of blues. its worth it.
sorry, i dont think i have a pic anymore with my illumina/prokit combo. it was a great ride.

I am running the Pro-Kit with Koni Reds. The settings on the shocks are still at the softer setting and the ride is smooth and forgiving compared to any other setups I have run. I believe that this setup is a good bias considering it is non-adjustable. Keep in mind this is on 205/60/14s

Front Side

Sits about .5 inch lower in the rear now. This pic was taken straight off the jack.

You think so, even for a 1" drop?

yes. very much so. its not abou the amount of drop. its just the extra quality.
i cannot vouch for blues anymore. ive heard too many ppl complain about the quality. theyre now made in their china factory. and as far as i know, the illuminas are still made in japan and you get a lifetime warranty. that alone makes it worth the money.

The "adjustability" is a bit more involved then just turning a dial though. any tips you can give me in adjusting for a better drag launch setup IM?

Anyone else that can shed light on the Blue/Pro-Kit combo? I've heard people raving about the Blues/Sportlines. That's why I bought the shocks to begin with but when I heard people were blowing them I thought maybe it'd be less likely with the Pro-Kit.
Blues are really not the best shock out there I can't really vouch for or against them my Mazdaspeed protege came with them and some springs and they ride great...I have always heard they will blow with any amount of a drop, my friends teg had them on the front and he compared them to his k-sports and said they look like a toy compared to something of quality....I rock Koni yellow and Ground controls on my CRX so i can't help you much
I did put a pro kit on a sunfire and it made a noticable difference in handling and a much more agressive stance, I have experience with blue and eibachs but not on the same vehicle

Agreed. I can vouch for them, but only because I bought mine back in 2002. If this is true about the blues now being made in china, then
to the blues, i'd go with the illumnas.
I used to have Blues w/Sportlines on my car and loved it for daily driving. If I had to do it again, I would go with the illumnas/pro-kit, or Koni/Prokit. Or Koni/Ground Control with 8" length springs with rates of 275/200 lb/in Front/Rear or 300/225 lb/in Front/Rear.
But in the end, it's ultimately your choice, so do what you want to do and keep in mind the info provided
