95 civic died .... Please help
Car just died while driving. Replaced distributor (remanufactured) due to internal oil leak...still no spark. Replaced ECU .... no spark. Checked main relay and it checks good. When key is turned on the CEL comes on for 2 secs and goes off. If I short the 2 pin connector, the CEL stays solid...no error codes. Are there other sensors that could cause this?
thanks,
mike

had the same problem and still havent found the prob...have you tried playing with the ignition switch and then turning it on cause that what i did then it started just to be on the safeside im gonna change my ignition switch and see if that helps but if not im gonna try checking the engine management system so i'll let you know if any of these help
I don't think there is anything funny going on with the switch....seems to be consistent. I'm hoping there is someone familiar with the relevant sensors and how to check them. I'm tired of throwing money at it.

have you tried on checking on the coil? i have the same problem and i checked the resistance of my coil amd my secondary coil is out of spec. i haven't replaced it yet cause i'm sick and can't really do much right now, but hopefully thats my problem cause i checked that i have fuel going in and everything works in the car.
