Just put in valvesprings so you dont have to worry about it. Age and mileage will play a factor in the springs (Ive seen OEM stock ones fail with alot of wear), so just throw in some new/newer used ones that are up for the task of the bigger cams. Type R springs are $100 or so and not really any extra trouble to replace while you have the cams out.
if you run too aggressive of cams with stock valvetrain the valves will not be able to "pop" fast enough causing you to float a valve at higher rpms and cause premature wear on your rocker arms

What If I get 403 crower?

if you get any upgraded cams it is recomended to get an upgraded valve train. Some say it is possible to run on stock like skunk2 stage 1 cams. I believe itr cams would need the exhaust side of the itr valve train. But you might as well just upgrade valve train to get a good piece of mind and know your **** wont break because you changed cams.
