Default CRX and Civic Front Window Same Or Different?

My roommate somehow smashed the front window on my CRX and I need new glass. Just wondering if EF Civic front window glass is the same as CRX glass. I dont think it is but might aswell check.

Thanks

Crix, you mean the windshield? Or a door window?

A new windshielf is about 200$ installed with a new seal some speedy, it's where I got mine. That's for the windshielf without the blue tint thing.

No it was on my other CRX that I use in the winter. I was letting him use it when his car was in police impound.

He stated before he had the car for more that a day or two while I was talking to him that any damage to the car, any tickets and anything else to happen to it while in his possesion would be his responsibility. So I will hold him to that promise.

Lately they go for like 250 installed with a Honda OEM gasket, around here. Make sure you get a Honda OEM Gasket. The Aftermarket gaskets fit like **** on our cars.

I have a brand new windshield, brand new OEM gasket, cost me (well my brother bought it as a gift) 210$ after taxes. Cheapest one in town that I found for brand new windshield and gasket.

Speedy auto glass did it. A good job, only I find the gasket didn't get enough cocking for my liking and it pulling back, I'm coking it down tonight.

I went to Go Glass and its $258 installed and they come out to the farm to do it and $241 if I take it there. So I think that Ill just get them to come out and do it because it doesnt matter.

For CRXs it only comes with the blue tint sun strip at the top of the window and he confirmed that CRX ones are different than EF Civic ones. So that pretty much rules out getting on cheap from the junkers because there are absolutely no CRXs in any of the junk yards around here because I called everyone of them up today when I was on my break at work and Im not driving an hour to Toronto to save $30.
