Default DOHC ZC bogging out and im f**king frustrated

well like so many other people i have a problem with bogging out at WOT. it accelerates fine if i ease into it but if im rolling in second at around 3k and floor it the engine bogs out for a good 3-4 seconds before it can catch up. IVE TRIED ALOT TO TRY AND STOP THIS!!!!!! it has new plugs, wires, dizzy, rotor, cap, new fuel filter, the compression is good, the tps is reading .52@closed and 4.56@ WOT, and the timing is set to stock. ive had this engine for a year and as of today all the parts and settings listed above have not cured the bogging. one thing that i did notice was that right after i replaced the fuel filter, the bogging seemed to be reduced greatly, but after a few days it was back and just as bad as before, so im guessing it might be a fuel issue. could it be the fuel pump?? the pump is really the only thing left that hasnt been replaced. could it just be that the tank is so dirty that it clogged the filter within days??? Please help im getting really frustrated putting money into parts and not seeing any results.

Check your O2 sensor (might be running to rich once on WOT). And make sure the engine is stiff. If it's too lose, you will have a problem with bogging like I have.

Grounds?

Wouldnt be the o2 sensor, at WOT its in closed loop mode. What ECU are you running? PM7 is the best, then PM6.

The PM7 and the PM6 are essentially the same ECU. Is there any codes in the ECU at all, and when you prime the system (first turn the key on), does the pump make any wierd noises, or does it sound normal?
Also check your regulator, ensure that when you pull the vacuum line off of the top your fuel pressure rises and does not stay the same or drop. Also, if you have a fuel pressure gauge hooked up, prime the pump (should be approx. 40psi or so) then shut the key off. Your pressure should hold at whatever it was at when you prime the pump. If you see the pressure start to drop off within a few seconds then you have a bad regulator.

I do beleive you mean pg6 and pm7 are the same. The pm6 is the Si ecu.

that would be PG7, not PG6

Are there any codes in the ECU? Do you have another Fuel pressure regulator to swap on to try? Do this first.

Another thing too....most of the JDM engines I get in I always use the fuel system from the original engine...meaning the rail and injectors including the FPR. The problem lies when the engine sits around in Japan, or here in NA, most of the time the spot on the rail where the fuel line hooks up to is left exposed, and water gets in and actually clogs the injector filters with rust, causing hard starts and bogging under load. Maybe pop the rail off and check to see if the filters at the tops of your injectors are dirty/rusty as well.

fuel pump, put in a walbro 255 and it will solve your problem... i had the same problem and changed my dizzy, dizzy cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel pressure relulator, had tps adjusted, timing checked, fuel filter, fuel pump, and oil pressure switch, and it went away
