Starting car after 6 months
Anything special I should do? The car has been sitting in my garage for 6 months while I was away at sea. I changed the oil right before we left for deployment so dont know if I should change it again. Anything else I should check? Its a 95 GSR with DRAG turbo kit.

i say test drive it to see for yourself if u feel like there is anything wrong. I also suggest u check all ur fluids. If ur still a a lil skeptical, i say take it to mechanic to have all ur engine checked. I had my mechanic check for anything wrong and it was free of cost. oh yeah, u should do a transmission oil change too. and good luck bro!

, i would change the oil and possibly some other fluids. Every 3k miles or 3 months i belive right?? Military?

Bought it from a guy who was the original owner, he bought it for his son as a graduation present in 1987. It was used as collateral on a business venture in the 90's, then the bank went out of business and the car went into storage. They got it out, got it to crank, and I bought it and went though a huge hassle gettin the lien taken off. It's a piece of junk. It's overheating, a/c doesn't work, body panels are falling off, master cylinder is bad. I can't get the carb tuned right it's either a high idle or stalls, so I'm gonna have to actually take it to a shop and have someone who knows carbs better than me adjust it.
