Default WTB: 750CC or smaller bike. Texas area. Nothing expensive. ($2k or less)

Basically I'm looking for a small bike in good mechanical shape to ride to work. I live about half a mile from work, and want something cheap and small to get to work on. Sportbike or cruiser, doesn't matter. No gopeds/mopeds though, I do have limits.

Must be in Texas, and the closer to East Texas the better, i.e. Houston, etc. The cheaper the better and I don't care if it's a sport bike with road rash as long as it can be ridden.

Please send PM's. Even if you just know somebody in the area with a bike for sale cheap, pass me the info please.

Thanks!

Having pedals on a 750? sounds like monster garage talk. Local bike n hike trails beware

I was just looking around on craigslist and found this:

It looks like a really good deal if theres nothing seriously wrong with it.

Out of my price range, but thanks for posting it nonetheless. That bike is a good deal nicer really than what I'm looking for. I'm looking for basically a motorcycle beater.. heh.

That's exactly what I want and am after, but I just haven't found one. Was hoping maybe somebody on here had one in the garage or was looking to sell one.
