ok i just found in the package un opened a key for my prelude THAT IS RED and the package has a barcode. what the hell is it 4 ???

It's only for service purpose. Don't stick into any key hole.

 

OH no dont worry i dont have the car anymore i just found it didnt know what it was for though

 

It is to program a new key in the event you lose your main one. you give that red key to the dealer and they can then make you a new security key from it. But dont use the red one in the ignition....apparently bad thing can happen.

I hate when I see "R" or "Type R" stickers on Preludes. wtfx3. lol

 

i think if you shove that thing in any keyhole, the black or original keys wont work anymore.

Red keys add 10whp, it's proven! There's a chip inside the key that when you put it into the ignition, it will temporarily reprogram the ecu for a higher redline and more aggressive ignition and fuel maps! JDM yO!
