DOHC ZC wont start with pm7
Alright i picked up a pm7 ecu to run my dohc zc i swapped in. Ive been running my stock si ecu (pm6) so far and its been working fine, i just wanted to upgrade. I swapped in the pm7 ecu in and the car wouldnt turn over. When I turned the key on the ecu flashed once and when I turn it off it flashes once so i know it was hooked up and getting power. I reconnected it again to make sure they were all snug but it still wouldnt start. I through the pm6 back on and boom, started up instantly. Anyway i can test to see if the ecu is shot or not? Thanks.
Let me know if the ecu is dead, or if theres a possibility of it being something else.

DOA ECU...just use the PM6 and find another PM7.
I had the same thing happen with my first PR3 in my old B16 CRX. Motor wouldn't crank for jack. Swapped in a borrowed Pw0, it fired right up. I bought another PR3 and it runs perfect to this day...trashed the 1st PR3 (and filed a paypal complaint)
