hello every one. ive made up my mind and disciding to swap the d16z6 into my 88 crx si.

what i was wondering is will i be able to swap the intake manifold and stuff onto the z6, also motor mounts, pullys, timing belt, fly wheel?

are most of the parts from a d16a6 compatible for a z6?

im in desprete need of info

 

Are you doing a full swap or just a minime? Either way I think they will. Check out the FAQ there is quite a bit of stuff about z6 in there. I'm sure the manifolds will fit since ppl mini me the z6. But i'm still new to this myself and might be given wrong info. So just check that FAQ and make sure. GL

 

ya im going to do the full swap because the d16a6 in the car was drivin by a stuiped ricer with out a intake filter so now it smokes blue indicating bad rings. not only that but the breather valve for the crank shaft was not tubed to the intake so now the engine is completely covered a oily film. and it dosn't smell to great when the engine is fully wormed up. the d16a6 is pretty much tost, it will need a full rebuild.

im rebuilding the z6 and swaping it in there untill i can aford a b16 set up.

ill go check the FAQ's my bad for not doing that first .
