Spotted Car Thief in Pacifica
Around 8:00 pm, My brother spot a person taking pic of his PY ITR before he can get a description of the person, the person took off. He has all the nesscary seruity items need and I know you can't stop the tow truck. So in short its hard to be an owner of a ITR in the Bay Area.
Did the person run away when he saw your brother, or just take a pic and get in his tuck & leave before your brother could get a good look at him?
I'm not against vigilance at all, sneaking suspicions, gut instincts, etc., but going just by what you posted, he could just be an enthusiast. Now, if he was taking a pic of the VIN or right up against the glass I would follow that truck!
Eh, then again. if I put myself in your brother's shoes I'd probably be thinking thief, too. Or maybe the guy did look really suspicious. Just something to ponder though.

Hope that R is tucked away in a garage. If not, maybe move it to another location for a little while?? Would hate to see your next thread start something like, "So my brother woke up this morning and ....the R was gone! I knew that guy taking the pics was no good..."
I really hope he was just an enthusiast, but it never hurts to re-evaluate an R's security.

keep her safe...relocate whatever just keep your eye out man.
On a side note my caR has been parked outside the garage minus a front end for the past couple of days and guess what i found next to heR last night...muddy reebock footprints, i dont own or wear reebocks and my mom or dad dont either! They were also around the windows to my shop and close to the roll up door! I live out in the boondocks, and my alaskan husky is chained up right next to my garage and she was raising hell last night...guess i shouldnt have ignored her. I'll take her off the chain tonight and sleep with my nine under the pillow and the shotgun next to the door, they will not steal my CAR! I mean honestly it doesnt even have a core support front bumper hood fenders or anthing, i just put a car cover over her. I live way out in the woods and i've never had a problem with things like this before. Shes goin in the garage tonight and were locking down the fort!

i agree be on the careful lookout. But it could also be a enthusiast if he is just looking. Don't shoot the wrong guy
I personally have seen an ITR in the lot, walked up to it, because i was curious if it was real or a fake. Good thing i didn't get shoot
