Default ITBs

I was wondering why many people dont use individual throttle bodies on their all motor setup? I think that ITBs would be one of the biggest horsepower gainer. Yes the price is high for the already made ones but ive researched how to make them yourself and it seems pretty promising id just like to hear yalls input before i start on the project! oh by the way its going on a H22 if that helps any

Finding any proof that homemad ITB's are worth the trouble is nearly impossible or very hard to find.

Off the shelf ITB's may destroy an off the shelf IM and TB, but a worked IM can make just as much power.

But, a custom and tweaked ITB setup to suit a particular application is the best way to go if the budget permits it.

The ITB's I have for sale, made 19whp and 9ft/lbs peak over an AEBS and BBK 70mm TB with no other changes other than fuel injectors.

TWM itb's are the best way togo. You can check them out @ http://www.twminductions.com and you want to look at the 2000 series. Highend autosports

If you want to do ITB's the right way, the only option IMHO are Jenvey's. They offer throttles sized every .5mm, and they have over a dozen different velocity stacks to choose from so you can tune to your powerband.

IF you decide to go TWM, make sure you buy a vacuum canister, because the integrated one is a POS. Also, order a second throttle spring, otherwise your throttles will stick every once and a while...in the end, TWM's are a headache.
