those with zc sohc motor...chime in...
no...it has nothing to do with the dpfi to mpfi conversion. i have enough info on that thanks to you. i do have a question on the mounting bracket for the ac/power
steering motor/compressor...
somehow after swapping in the zc motor the mounting bracket will not line up. it is obvious that it's off by just a lil...i am a firm believer that the dpfi motor's mounting bracket would line up but that was a no go. so we picked up a si's bracket and that was a lil better but still a no go..i am down to just taking off the ac/power steering unit but since we're located here in the desert of las vegas, ac has to stay. the last reason i would think causing this not to line up is that the motor mounts are not flushed/or down to where they are supposed to be.
so those with the zc swap..please give me some inputs on why the mounting bracket isn't fitting right?

For the power steering you have to use a 1.6 bracket (SOHC ZC, EX sedan, 4WD wagon) because the block is taller than your 1.5. The right bracket should have PM6 stamped on it. As for the A/C i have no idea i always take them out.
as i stated we pulled that bracket off exactly a 1990 honda civic ex which had the 1.6 motor in there...this bracket is the only thing causing us not to finish the swap...pain in the **** i tell you....we'll take another chance on it tomorrow...
