Ok so heres the story.. i owned a JDM front end integra b4.. and i fixed this gap no prob on my old car.. but i cant seem to fix it with this current car... what i would do before was adjust the bumper support bar and move it all the way up, but i did it to this one and its still not working... even tried to put washers still no good.. recently i just intsalled new JDM ITR headlights, and it made it even worst, had to adjust my headlights to make it look a lil better. this bumper sag has been getting on my nerves so bad!! i cant seem to fix it, tried adjusting the reinforcement bar so many gawd damn times and dsnt really do anything.. what can fix this?? what do i have to adjust??!! help PLease!! is my intercooler pushing it out ? i doubt it.. btw front end is all metal . polyurathane front bumper. straight from japan!

is it oem metal or fiberglass?

Polyurathane. front end is ALL metal straight form japan WHITE!

 

My car had the annoying back bumper sag, I fixed it buy adjust the reinforcement bar though.

Although your case is the front bumper, so mehh I dunno

Maybe the front bumper has been damaged before? pretty hard to fix then

na front bumper isnt damaged. its in good condition.. but BUMP added pics of what i got..

 

Bump. posted up pictures of car w/o bumper and pics of items i have on front end.. please help me!! its so annoyin to see the bumper sag gap!

 

that thing underneath headlights, i call it the moustache

u gotta get that thing as close to the headlights as possible. you can use a jack or something with wood.

also your radiator support/ headlight brackets could be the problem as well.

the bumper support bar


it is all the way up. i loosed the four bolts, pushed it all the way up and held it up, and tightend the bolts! didnt help! thinking about adjusting the Bumper REINFORCEMENT bar but dont know if that will do anything.. heres what it looks like and i dont really know how to adjust it.. dont want to screw it up more then it is..

 

my car has that problem too... been pissing me off for the longest time... i see all other ITR fronts all flushed n ****, n mine has gaps... but i guess i'll let the auto shop fix it when i get the car painted
the part that bothers me the most is between the grill and the bumper... i have to snap it back into place every now and then. its cuz some of the bolts n plugs fell off...

i know. iw as one of them who was flushed n **** on my old car.. ahah tahts why its pissin me off so much on this integra of mine .. so used to it being flush.. well if nobody gives me any advise on what to do.. i guess ill juss go home depot. buy a gang of bolts and washers and nuts. replace my zip ties and the oem jdm bumper socket plugs or whatever used in the middle and used them all and hopefully it will help a bit... if not imma go CRAZY and DRILL HOLES !!!

where did u use washers at? i usd them on the bumper support bar.. didnt reallyy help but did notice a TINY bit diff.. not much else to adjust. just pulled it all the way up.. next thing im thinking of is freakin drillin new holes so the bumpe support bar is higher..

ahah thanks. yeah gonna try home depot tomrow and if that dnst help .. time to whip out the drill bit thing..

haha... i put washers on the bumper support bar and duct taped em'... then put the bumper on top of it, and it help a lil... but not enough... haha, more ppl did it ghetto style than i thought... bump!

 

Bend the small tabs downwards and used a big pry bar and flex the whole support upwards

did that on my old integra.. that method just ended up making the front end gapping not even.. but imma try this new method that anotehr HT member told me..

if it is.. i LOVE YOU MAN!!

but on M1 AUTO BODY & Paint.. installing my front end Incorrectly and causing me to freakin work on my car SOO MUCH just for a 1 inch gap!

The trick is to do w/ with precisio... a ruler goes a long way.

 

I have the same problem on my teg. If you ever figure it out let me know and help me too

put washers on the bottom bolts for each side of the bumper reinforcement bar

i did taht for the Bumper SUpport bar..

recinforcement bar.. are we talkin about the same thing.. this one u talkin about?

 

yeah that one, if not, u might have to re-alighn everything, lights drop down, hood rubber supports, latch, ect. i hope this helped, now u owe me that cf hatch

already droppped everything, well, headlights + bumper support .. but not the latch or hood rubber supports and etc. hahah wish i could keep this hatch when i repaint my car but NOPE fawkin whack money issue!

 

Yeah I forgot to mention, my rear bumper was all crooked because some idiot rear ended me. Although my bumper support/reinforcement bar looked normal it was slightly bent out of shape, maybe you could try and "bend" it abit to make it sit even closer to the headlights and therefore making the bumper better?
