Default HELP cleaning block

my d16y8 been sitting outside for 2 years n the block is alil coroded. I been using wire brush tips on my dremel and its been cleaning it up real nice but the brushes keep wearing out. Does any1 know a better method or a good type of head for a dremel or drill that will withstand the job?

I just tryed new thing on cleaning my ls block and i used brakleen and a wire brush then i got down to the niddy briddy and used aluminum polish with a tooth brush worked pretty well

A machine shop can beadblast and jet wash it for you for about $60. Nothing looks fresher than a sandblasted block IMO.
The dishwasher works great too. Just remove all the grease first with some degreaser and high pressure water (car wash).
